PLASTIC RECYCLING - AUSTRALIA
Kerbside soft plastic recycling
The Australian Food and Grocery Council spearheaded a trial of the National Plastics Recycling Scheme, encompassing approximately 7,000 households across six council areas in Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales. As part of this initiative, participating households segregated their soft plastics and placed them in specially designated orange bags. These bags were subsequently deposited into their regular yellow-lidded recycling bins and collected accordingly.
