The Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) has expressed support for decisions made by the nation’s environment ministers to aid food and grocery manufacturers in reducing plastic packaging waste. The establishment of the National Plastics Recycling Scheme (NPRS) was one of the supported initiatives, which includes plans for harmonized kerbside collection standards and a national framework for recycled content traceability.
