Superfy exhibited at the Resource Waste Management Expo 2023 (RWM) in Birmingham, U.K. last week.

The tradeshow is one of the largest waste and recycling exhibitions across the UK and Europe, drawing in an average of 800 exhibitors and 18,000 global attendees. Alongside the exhibitors, the tradeshow featured keynote theatres focusing on the circular economy, net-zero, packaging, and extended producer responsibility.

Across the two-day event, Superfy unveiled their latest solution on disposable vape collection. The new solution consists of monitoring and tracking software, IoT sensors, and most importantly smart containers that are created specifically for safe disposable vape collection. Disposable vapes are one of the biggest challenges in the waste and recycling industry today, with more than 1.3 million single-use vapes or e-cigarettes being disposed of in the UK weekly.

Superfy’s new solution continuously monitors the fill level of the disposable vape smart containers and tracks for any rise in temperature. The software system is used to streamline collection routes and enhance battery collection safety using real-time data.
