The rollout of Superfy’s Platform will enable the City of Melbourne to phase out fixed-route collections replaced with on-demand pickups. Each Superfy S200 BriteBin manufactured by PEL and Installed and managed by Superfy, has solar-powered compaction and fill-level sensors that trigger a collection only when a bin reaches 85 per cent capacity, replacing fixed-route pickups with on-demand collections and directly cutting truck movements through the city. Any bin that reaches full capacity triggers a priority dispatch, while the sealed, non-touch design prevents spillage, pests and litter..
Lord Mayor Nick Reece said the new solar-powered bins will supercharge Melbourne’s ability to keep the city sparkling. “Melbourne is putting its bins on the sunshine diet – powered by the sun, compacting more rubbish and telling our crews when they need emptying.”
“Keeping our city clean is one of our fundamentals. Last year we removed more than 6,000 tonnes of rubbish from Melbourne’s streets – almost 20 per cent more than the year before.”

Rolling out to all customers now!
What a two days at RWM in Birmingham! The NEC was packed with operators, councils and recyclers who all want the same thing: fewer wasted truck movements, lower collection costs and better data to prove it. It was great to show so many people how Superfy brings bin sensors, collections, routing, fleet and ESG reporting into one platform, and to hear first-hand how teams across the UK and Ireland are tackling rising costs and new regulation. The conversations carried on well into the evening, and we’ve come away with a full notebook of follow-ups. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to the RWM team for a brilliant show. See you next September!
What a week at E-Waste World Expo North America in Atlanta! Stand S3 at the Cobb Convention Center was busy across both days, with e-waste and battery recyclers, collectors and haulers all looking for smarter ways to run their operations. With the Battery Recycling Expo and Critical Minerals Expo under the same roof, the conversations ranged from collection points spread across whole states to tracking every pickup for customers and regulators. It was great to show how Superfy puts fill levels, collections, routing, fleet and ESG reporting into one platform, and to meet so many local Atlanta operators while we were in town. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand, and to the organisers for a brilliant show.

Northern Gulf Services, a used cooking oil collector operating across the Southeast US, has selected Superfy to run its collection operations. The platform's AI-powered dynamic routing maximizes oil collected per trip while cutting wasted mileage, and automated compliance documentation removes manual paperwork and reduces risk as the fleet grows.
