Superfy is proud to announce that we are now a Commercial Partner of CIWM, the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management. CIWM is the leading professional body for the waste and resources sector, and joining its network places Superfy alongside the organisations shaping how the UK, Ireland and the wider world move beyond waste.
As a new Commercial Partner, Superfy features in CIWM's Circular Online Commercial Partner News for November. The feature covers our work with the City of Melbourne on Australia's largest smart bin rollout:

The timing of our CIWM partnership matters for UK operators. DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking (DWT) regulations are now in force. Since 1 October 2026, permitted waste receiving sites in England, Wales and Northern Ireland have had to report the waste they receive digitally. Scotland follows in January 2027, and carriers, brokers and dealers are next in line.
Superfy is fully compliant with DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking regulations. Every collection is recorded digitally from container to depot, so the data operators need to report is captured as the work happens. You don't need to re-key anything, chase paperwork or rely on spreadsheets.
The same data that keeps operators compliant also cuts their costs:
Superfy is exhibiting at the ISWA 2026 World Congress, hosted by CIWM at the QEII Centre, Westminster, London, from 9–11 November. It's the flagship global event for waste and resource management, with delegates from more than 50 countries.
Come and see us at Stand 8, or book a meeting with the team. We'll show you how Superfy handles Digital Waste Tracking and how operators are cutting collection costs.
